I am primarily known for being the developer of several major addons (third party software) for World of Warcraft, one of the most famous and influential MMORPGs. My creations include popular titles such as Bagnon, OmniCC and PetTracker.
Currently I am a Computer Science M.Sc student at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, and part of the Sensorimotor Systems Lab. Previously, I attended the University of Coimbra, where I obtained a Bachelor in Computer Science. During that time, I went on a one term exchange to McGill University, Montreal, but ended up being hired as an undergraduate researcher for one extra term at the Computer Animation and Interaction Capture Lab, working with professors Paul Kry and Derek Nowrouzezahrai (from Université de Montreal).
I started programming when I was 13 years old. Since then I have been conciliating part time work with studies: besides addon development, I have worked as an engine developer at DeltaEngine, Hannover, and as technical writer for Curse. Additionaly, I have also studied for 10 years classical music and guitar at the Conservatório de Música de Coimbra.
